We currently have 6 embryos available from this mating.

Blackhaugh Emma C363, described by the late Rainy Brown as being “the best cow in the Borders”, bred well from the start at Blackhaugh with her first calf, Blackhaugh Easy Papa G733, being sold to Deveron where he bred very successfully with calves winning many calf shows and going on to sell well.

Emma C363 is a daughter of Rawburn Transformer and renowned Cudlobe Ellen Erica 46D, one of the most powerful and attractive cows in Canada. Transformer redefined Aberdeen Angus breeding in the UK and 46D produced the Edmonton Farmfair Bull Calf Champion before entering the Rawburn ET programme and producing fantastic calves, both male and female, many of whom went on to be high sellers, including the last publicly sold daughter, Rawburn Ellen Erica H880, selling for 16,000gns at Stirling in February 2013.

Blelack Duke J262 – this top breeding imported ET was sired by Lagrand MAF Antidote 5775 ex ONeills Delia K720, a full sister to the $150,000 ONeills Expedition.

In the sale catalogue, prior to the dispersal of the Autumn portion of the Blelack herd in May 2017, Graeme Massie was quoted as saying “Duke has a very interesting pedigree and breeds very well.” The sale then saw 4 Duke sired young cows going on to sell to a top of 15,000gns, to average 11,000gns.
